Alumnae Notes
The Old Girls have been very busy this year, studying, working, bring ing up their families, and helping the community in many and varied ways.
Augusta Burke, Elisabeth Brown and Leila Hedges have taken courses in nursing, Elizabeth Browne and Helen Lounsbery in secretarial work. Louise Earle, Lilian King, Janet Lane, Dorothy Parvin, Louise Patterson and Agnes Rogers have worked in the Lederal Reserve Board in New York.
Anne Swann is a very active organizer and worker in the Lirst Pres byterian Church in New York. Ellen Hovey has dramatized one of the
\'assar Workshop Plays; she is also studying singing and has given a re cital at \'assar. Julia Liebeger and Marjory Woods Robinson have done government work in Washington. Helen Besler, Audrey Gernon and
Helen Joy are busy with war work abroad.
Lrederica Mead has returned to her post at Ginling College, in China. Carita Doggett is head of the Junior Red Cross in Jacksonville, and
Marjorie Dobbins holds the same position in l^asadena. The Bomanns are, as ever, most efficient in every good Plainfield enterprise. Katharine Browne has been very valuable in the Hostess House at Camp Mills.
Prances Zelie l^etigrue has gone to Brazil with her husband, who has a bank position there. Ruth Stanley-Brown is with the Alacmillan Com pany in New York.
Pidith Mellick is more than ever delighting us with her beautiful music. Keyo Tetsuka is going far with her art. Alyrna Eberhart is studying music in New York. Agnes Rogers is to organize and coach the pageant for Lounder’s Day at Vassar.
