 UNDERCLASS
The years from ninth to eleventh grade can be long and tedious, though they make up the most important part of a student’s academic record. The grades received by the student during these crucial years are seen by the soon-to-be applied to colleges, and so carry a special weight. The outstand­ ing academic program at Wardlaw- Hartridge helps prepare students to enter colleges of their choice although so much excellence can be exhausting.
Fortunately, the underclass at Ward- law-Flartridge combine studies with fun time and sports. Many are dedi­ cated to extra-curricular activities and the athletic program which helps to brighten the long hours of study.
Guided by the high-caliber staff at Wardlaw-Hartridge, the underclass are molded into responsible students. The underclass have goals to achieve. Although the hurdle from the ninth grade to the junior year, is giant, the jump from junior to senior becomes just another step in the course of high school for them.
