"Dear Class of 2013, ol
3As you reflect on your time at Wardlaw-Hartridge I hope you realize |the impact you have had on our ^community. Some of you are ^affectionately known as “lifers.” Some ,fl;of you left your families behind to join hhe class much more recently. As a class, you became a unified entity, growing, learning, and evolving as
none.
Now, as you prepare to go your ^separate ways, remember that now ^matter how far you might collectively
drift, there is something that keeps you connected. The Class of 2013 is united by moments, memories, and friendships that will last long after you leave the safe-haven of W-H.
Michel de Montaigne, one of the most influential writers of the French Renaissance said, “Our great and glorious masterpiece is to live appropriately.” What I’d like you to think about, as you transition away from the familiar and into the unknown, is that school and life are to a great extent what you make of them. And therefore, living life ‘appropriately’ means living life successfully and happily.
Please let me hear from you as you transition into this new and exciting adventure that lies ahead. I will truly miss each one of you and wish you only the best.
Fondly,
Rhona Eserner
