 IN MEMORIAM
A rare combination of scholarly learning, sin cere friendliness, and an irresistible sense of humor endeared Miss Elizabeth Mapelsden to all of us. In the classroom, at Oakwood, and on the Players’ Green she showed her devotion and loyalty to the school, combined with a deep affection for the girls and an unfailing understanding of them. The Trustees of the school have recorded our loss in a most gracious appreciation of Miss Mapelsden, and, as pupils of the school, we wish to add our expression of love for our friend and teacher.
