 dedication
They are the first ones to open the doors in the morning, and they are the last ones to leave at night. The Buildings & Grounds members are some of the hardest working people at our school, yet their work often goes unnoticed. Mr. Chavez sweeps up the gymnasiums after our practices and our games. Mrs. Hughes can always be seen armed with a bottle of Windex to ensure that our school is always sparkling and clean. M r . Leard can be found outside lining our
playing fields after M r. Conner has mowed them. W e will forever remember how Mr. Schwietering helped saved the life of one of our fellow students by making a tourniquet with his belt. Led by superintendent Leaford Thompson, the maintenance staff of our school makes a difference in our lives everyday. They set up and take down the tables and the chairs in the AP room hundreds of times each year and sometimes twice in one day. Instead of getting a summer vacation, they work inside fixing up the classrooms and the hallways and outside maintaining the fields and landscaping the property. Instead of enjoying snow days, they are hard at work shoveling the snow-covered pathways and plowing the parking lot. Because they work hard everyday to make our campus look its best for the students, faculty, and visitors, we the Tempora et Mores staff, as representatives of the class of 2 0 0 5 , respectfully dedicate our yearbook to the Buildings and Grounds crew. Juan Chavez, Al Conner, Margaret Hughes, Jack Leard, Bob Schwietering, and
Leaford Thompson, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to our school!
