 Drama Club
The time and thought put in by the members of the Drama Club un der the direction of Mr. Alexander McDougall were reflected quite clearly in the quality of its two pro ductions.
The fall play, Bell, Book, and Can dle, dealt with witchcraft in the twentieth century. Set in New York City, it portrayed the problems of a young witch, Gillian Holroyd, played
by Robin Orttung, as she falls in love with Shep Henderson, played by Frank Reda, and faces the difficul ties of being a witch in a society of humans.
The spring play, Crown M atri monial, dealt with the abdication of King Edward VIII from the throne of England. Frank Reda had the lead role as King Edward, while Gina Kazimir played Edward’s mother.
