 And now the Sun hud stretch'd out all the hills, And now was dropt into the Western Bay;
At last he rose, and twitch'd his Mantle blew: To morrow to fresh Woods, and Pastures new.
-John Milton
Our school experience is an important part of our lifelong growth process. In the 1979 Tempora et Mores we have tried to capture the essence of that period and how it affected each one of us as individuals.
A successful yearbook relects the dedication and talent of the staff and the editors. The diversity and unique ness of this yearbook is largely due to the freshness of an unusually large staff. The editors have each contib- uted significantly in their respective fields. The quality of the photography is a reflection of the abilities of Ben
Wolansky and Louis Quick. Gary Johnson has made this yearbook memorable with his creative artwork. Akiko Shimamura deserves a special thanks for all the time she poured into this book.
Mrs. Elaine Bart, aided by Jennifer Prodo, has once again done a remarkable jon with the business staff. Mr. Robert Gould’s help in the darkroom was greatly appreciated by all who worked with him. As in pre vious years, Mrs. Julie Timberlake has helped us immensely by proof-reading the copy. Mr. Phil Berkebile and Mr. Wynne Murchison have both given a great deal of time to bail us out in tight situations. I would also like to thank Mr. William Kenny and Mrs. Alice Vorwerk for helping us with last minute emergencies.
The key of this yearbook has been Mr. George Ljutich. It was his confidence and enthusiasm throughout the year which made it possible for us to keep sight of “the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Another year is finished and another chapter of our lives has been completed. To all those who have been a part of it, goodbye and good luck.
