Student Development
The Student Development Committee is a relatively new club which has quickly come to play an important part in the functioning of the school. The students assist the development office in sorting and sending out mail, in contacting alumni, and in fostering public relations. The committee serves as a direct line of communication be tween the student body and the Board of Trustrees. This year, faculty advisor Mr. Peter Nestler, together with president Jane Larson, plans to have the club participate
in a major fund raiser for the school. “We hope that through the club’s efforts the students become aware of the problems of running a school, the purpose of fund rais ing, and the importance of presenting a good image to the public,” states Mr. Nestler.
