Cheerleaders" Enthusiasm And Efforts Spice Up W-H Sports
An important aspect of the sports scene this year was the cheerleaders. Under the guidance of advisor Nancy Fallon, the eight member squads jumped, cartwheeled, and cheered our teams on to victory. The girls’ enthusiasm spilled over into the teams’ playing and helped to raise school spirit. Ms. Fallon said, “they were the best squads that I ever coached.” Cap­ tained by Anne Samek and Darlene Weaver, the cheerleaders came a long way since the begin­ ning of the year and with more experience, next year should be fantastic.
