This should be the year that the Girls Varsity Tennis team shows its talents. Led by Peggy Burgess and Gayle Garmise, the team shows real promise. Coach Howard Freeman has lost only two of last year’s players and has gained some promising new talent-such as Cheryl Gay- das. All the girls are equally able players and can easily rotate positions. This will be a big help to the team and the year shows signs of being a good one for the girls.
