The Academic Association
President—Serena Murphy Vice-President—Rebekah Lipscomb
Secretary—Kitty Acosta
The Academic Association has bad several meetings this year for various purposes. The first one of importance was to bring up the question of having a bridge party in the Auditorium for the benefit of the Vassar Endowment
Fund. The members of the Association enthusiasticallv voted “Yes,” and because of the hard work of our President and several Plainfield girls, who were helpful in many ways, the party was a great success, and we made $182
for the fund. The next meeting of the Association was to elect the editor- in-chief of the Annual.
The most important thing done for the school by the Association this year was the adoption of a point sy.stem. The officers of the Association, with the vote of the girls, arrived at this decision about the number of points proportionately assigned to each office. No girl may hold offices exceeding thirty points.
