BASKETBALL
After the first few practice sessions, this year's basketball team looked very Impressive. Mr. Vietor, the coach, had seven letter men returning to mold into a well rounded squad. Captain John Fabian and Dave Doty held the forward positions and pro vided the team with a much needed scoring punch. The guard positions were played by Dave Garrison,

Jack Hawkins and Richard Weinraub. These three boys did an excellent job of play-making and ball handling. These five boys were ably supported by LeRoy Gunzelman, Dick Roy Gary Taylor, D. C. Thomas, Jeff Mellin, Aron Greenwald, and Bob Fuller.
With this team Mr. Vietor expected to have a very successful season. Although they bettered last year's record, winning 5 and losing 9, they failed to live up to expectations. However, of the 9 losses, 4 were by 3 points or less.
