 Dedication
Elaine Bart, chairperson of the science de partment, is not only a gifted teacher but also a respected counselor, a role model, and an esteemed friend. As our teacher of chemistry and physics, she has shared her extensive knowledge of her subject matter and has prepared us well for rigorous college courses. As a mentor and supporter, she has provided an unparalleled example of cour age.
We all have great admiration and love for Mrs. Bart as we dedicate this year’s Tempo- ra et Mores to her.

Mr. Munzel is extraordinary in that he has always taken an intense personal interest in his students and their well being. Especially concerned about the adjustment of eighth graders to upper school life, he is a best friend to any one who needs one, willing to listen any time of day or night.
Because of his exceptional teaching methods, his students always com ment that Mr. Munzel makes history “ come alive.” Using his wit, exper iences, and personality, he makes cer tain that no student misses any detail of his lectures because of lack of inter est.
This year’s Tempera et Mores is also dedicated to him in the hope that he will give us another generous and in valuable twenty-seven years.
