He was my mentor, colleague, and friend for all these years and I have cherished this relationship more than I can say. He will always have a special place in my heart.

As individuals, we are the sum of our life's experiences. Those experiences include many people we have met along life's way who have made us who we are today... Thanks to Bob, 1 am a better person for having known him, and he still serves as an enduring role model of the best human values.
~ Ronald /. Stanley '65
His breed is one that is not common in these times... it is a shame that his type of person and/or educator is the exception... not the norm. He will be missed in a big way, by many, as a person, as a W-H fix ture, an institution, an icon, a teacher, a mentor, a coach, a fan, a soccer official, a baseball umpire, as the "Jacket Police", and certainly, as a friend.
~ John Theillon '82
Bob Vietor was one of those few very spe cial people that sometimes you're lucky enough to have pass through your life... and I loved him.
