This year's Varsity Football squad rebounded nicely after only playing a J.V. schedule last sea son. Junior quarterback Mick Bissell and senior running back Qene Achermann were keys to the team's success. Both were newcomers to the Ram football program. Returning players Sheldon Riddick, Frank Stiso, Mark Robertson,
and Qreg Walker (all seniors) anchored a line that allowed fewer than 2 sacks per game. The team stood at 2-4 midway through the campaign before rallying for wins in the closing two games against North Warren and Sussez VO-Tech, both by large
margins. Juniors Lorin Cone and Todd Mele made significant contributions on both sides of the ball. Freshman running back/defensive back Jason Williamson, the first two-way freshman starter, will be back to boost next year's squad.
