 SOCCER
The Wardlaw-Hartridge Varsity Soccer team exploded out of the gates this year as they won four of their first five games, including the Irst annual W-H Soccer Classic. They won their first game against Ranney 7-0 and advanced to the championship game whwere they defeated Rutgers Prep. 3-2. The Rams then traveled to Rutgers Prep whwere they again outlasted the Argonauts. From that point on it was all downhill. The skid was caused in part by nagging injuries and tougher opponents. The strengths of the team were found in seniors Todd Kaplan, Charles Maizman, and Ray Steam, and in juniors Brian Bosonac, Qautam Sehgal, and Greg Maizman. Coach Ague noted that although their record was
disappointing, this year's team did show unity. He looks for strength next year in the returning seniors, and in freshmen Mike Campbell, Joe Bonk, and Dave Simon.
