Even the most casual of students knows that when speaking to Mrs. McMullen, he'd better watch his grammar. Though she's most fam ous for being an authority on us age, Mrs. McMullen has worn many hats during her fourteen years at W- f1. As an English teacher, she in spires her students with her great love for literature, particularly Shakespeare and the Romantic po
ets. She serves as adviser to the national Honor Society, ensuring that no student in the school need ing help is left tutor-less. Wednes day lunch she can be found in the library with quiz book in hand, pre paring the Decathlon Team for competition. Even after school, she finds time to teach English to for eign students, and in the fall, to write recommendations for many
grateful seniors. Most of all, it is Mrs. McMullen's warmth and ability to put people at ease that distin guish her.
Mrs. McMullen has often claimed that her true calling is to be a fam ous movie star, but luckily for W-H, she has not yet left for Hollywood. And so, we dedicate the 1991 Tern- pora et Mores to Mrs. McMullen, W- H's own celebrity.
