JUNIOR STUDENT COUNCIL
The Junior Student Council is an organization which seeks to better the interests of the middle school. Chosen by middle school students and faculty, the council is com­ posed of seven representatives, two sixth, two seventh, and three eighth graders.
Officers of the council this year were Patrick Rennie, president; Peter Burgdorff, vice-president; Charles Burg- dorff, secretary; and Charles Streib, treasurer. Other mem­ bers included Orrin Longbothum, Thomas Hierl, and Andrew Safran.
The council this year handled middle school problems smoothly. It sponsored a February dance.
As a symbol of high academic achievement, the coun­ cil awards Foxie, a small stuffed fox, to the middle school class which has at the end of each, marking period the highest average.
This year's council has set a good example tor future councils.
