WORD OF APPRECIATION
As the 1965 MAROON AND GOLD goes to press, we would like to express our sincere thanks to those who made it possible to present this edition to you.
Mr. Lewis Timberlake and Mr. Robert-Paoli are to be commended for their enormous effort. In the production of a book the size of the MAROON AND GOLD, the amount of copy in the various articles staggers the imagination. Mr. Timberlake, assisted by Mr. Paoli, has read and edited every word in this
y earbook. _
Special thanks go to Mrs. Gosch, whose valuable ideas have contributed to a more balanced layout. Dan Gosch's work is
greatly appreciated, for it was he who drew all the art featured this year.
Perhaps the most important part of a yearbook is its staff, and this year we had a truly hard-working one. Pete Pomeroy, managing editor, did a good job of balancing the books while working with Vic Levine, who has accumulated more ads than ever before. Fred Anthony was especially helpful in the over-all production, and his after-hours work has been greatly appreciated.
Of great help were the talents of photography editors, Tony Furman and Bob Smithers. Jeff Heim is also to be commended for
his exacting work in the darkroom. Mr. Fred Olson, the publisher, deserves praise for his helpful advice and for his assistance in the photography aspect.
We who have worked on the MAROON AND GOLD would all like to extend our warmest thanks to the parents, patrons, and advertisers without whom the completion of this book would have been
impossi bl e.
