SOPHOMORES The Class of 1967
As the college prospect looms nearer, the Class of 1967 has been keeping up its outstanding scholastic and extra curricular record.
Adam Levin as class president and James Hackman as vice-president have done much to organize the sophomore class into a capable one, while Student Council members John Barnhill and Donald Condon have made the class one of the best represented in school affairs.
Varsity squads this year counted upon an unusually large number of tenth graders, several of whom earned letters. Well-balanced academic achievement furnished the class with the second highest academic average in the school.
Extra-curricularly, the sophomores were well repre sented on both the Beacon and the Maroon and Gold staffs, the Glee Club, the Drama Club, and the Chess Club. The class-sponsored Commencement Dance was one of the year's social highlights.
With all this behind it, the Class of 1967 looks for ward with confident promise.
