SOCIAL EVENTS
A number of successful and well-a+tended social events marked the 1964-65 Wardlaw school year. Every class participated in the presentation of these affairs.
The Christmas and Commencement dances, sponsored each year by the Senior Student Council, were delightful social highlights. The juniors were in charge of the Decem ber affair, which attracted many alumni; and the sopho mores made arrangements for the colorful prom in June.
The Mothers' Association helped with the annual Christ mas Carol Services and the receptions which followed. This year again there were two services, one in the after noon and the other in the evening.
Seniors were hosts at a dance in November, music for which was furnished by The Renegades, a Wardlaw-com- posed combo. The Class of 1965 also sponsored several
motion pictures.
The lower school enjoyed its usual Halloween and
Christmas parties in the all-purpose room.
The social calendar closed with the annual excursion
to Forest Lodge for a day of swimming, sunbathing, base ball, and yearbook signing. It was a fitting climax to a year of unusually enjoyable social events.
