The Vocal Music Department under Miss Lisa Guida was divided into three groups this year: the Chorale, the Eighth Grade Chorus, and the Varsity Singers. The Chorale is the largest group and performs a wide variety of music styles, including pop, spiritual, and classical. The Eighth Grade Chorus performs less difficult music and trains singers for the Chorale. The Varsity Singers are a small group of 18 chosen from the Chorale. They perform extremely difficult music and this year also entered some area music com pe­ titions. Because of this division, Miss Guida was better able to concentrate on perfecting the singing of each group at their own level.
