W-H saw its second straight strong 17-7 season. Matching last year’s excellent record, the team missed the State Championship by a single point. Led by the scoring of Kevin Wyatt (20 ppg) and Steve Maxwell (13 ppg), the Rams were
also bolstered by the play of Jay Glasby; “the best 6th man in the league,’ ’ according to Coach Ko- vonuk.
The key to the season, however, was tough defense. The Rams held their opponents to an average of less than 48 points a game, the best defensive effort in W-H history. Re turning five lettermen, including “ Ice" Greene and “ Biff” Boff, the
team looks forward to good year and a rematch with Pennington.
