Every February the 8th graders travel for
a week-long excursion to our nation's ■^capital. While there, they visit historical ^sights including: the White House, the "" State Capitol, the Holocaust Museum,
and the Vietnam Memorial, just to name fa few. During this field trip students are able to experience and interact with their
peers in an enviornment that offers project-based learning. Mrs. Duddy and Mrs. Crafton expect the students to keep journal logs, and upon their return to school, they present to their classmates on a particular aspect of the trip. "It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to be able to apply what they are learning in a meaningful and tangible way," stated Mrs. Nancy Duddy.
