A recent game against Dunellen brought national attention. Scholastic Sports America, a show on ESPPi, came to look at 6'10" freshman Kevin Qarrity. Freshman Ramon Auciello and sopho mores Wayne Alston and Luke Burroughs, were also the focus of an in terview by the Courier Mews. In front of the biggest crowd of the season, W-H tri umphed, 64-31, led by senior Ian Dawson with 18 points.
There is much talk about the contrast between this year's and last year's team. One of the things that has changed is their style of play in general.
”1think this team can be better than last year's; it definitely has potential. There's also more of a focus on a power type game this year," added Assistant. Coach John Faraccio.
A big story that is definitely worth noting is that Head Coach Bill Kuchar gained his 600th win, which came in the first game of the season against Timothy Christian. Coach Kuchar is currently the fifth winningest coach in the state of Mew Jer sey.
