 at W-H there ore a lot of things that can't be found anywhere else, but the most unique of them all is what we refer to as“thelifer." thisspecialbreedorstudentissomeonewhohaseither accidentally or purposely ended up spending their entire academic careerthusfar,hereatWardlaw-Hartridge. asaresult,alotofwho theyhavebecomecanbeattributedtotheW-Hcommunity, “lifers” have gone through many of the same experiences, they have sat in the same classrooms, they have played on the same teams, and they have gone on the same trips, all because they have attended the same schoolforthirteenyears, evenwithsomanysimilarexperiences,it wouldbewrongtothinkthattheyareallthesame, each“lifer" in the class of '06, is an extremely unique individual... we have a verytalentedvocalist, a risingactor, a talentedphotographer, an ivy leaguehopeful,and thebestdistancerunnerintheschool,couldit be the security of knowing where you are that allows the “lifer" to develop confidently in their own way and pursue their individual talents? overthecourseofthirteenyearsthereboundstobemany changesatW-Handopportunitiestotakeadvantageof. beingable
to experience them all first hand is one of the most valuable aspects thatcanbetakenawayfrombeinga“lifer." asa“lifer"myself,Ifeel confident stating that our memories are priceless and unique, some
of them we may choose to share with the others, and some of them wemaychoosetokeeptoourselves, but,thebestpartaboutbeinga “lifer"surelyistherareopportunitytohavegrownupwithfiveother people who you know, trust, and share a lasting friendship.
