for the 2005 Nature's Classroom Trip, we visited the Ivoryton, Cl site, we spent our mornings hiking through beautiful mountains, one day we visited johnny's Point, which is at the peak ofthemountainandoverlooksthelake, thatafternoon,students were able to choose classes on various topics, including rocketry, hot air balloons, dissection, and even the physics of kickball. in the geodome class, our students built a geodome out of branches and rope, which stood all week and was strong enough for the students to dimb on. on Thursday, we went on to the local beach to learn about wetland and salt water ecology, every night there was a different evening activity, such as the underground railroad night effects, where we learned about how our eyes adjust to the dark, andquest, a teamworkchallenge. Nature’sClassroomwasa extraordinary trip and everyone had a wonderful time enjoying each other's company, and getting to knoweach other better.
