ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Yearbooks are a temporal thing; the people and moments they portray exist only for a short period of time. It is the duty of an annual to presesrve these fleeting moments and feelings for the future. The yearbook st3ff hopes it has given accurate impressions of what this year at Wardlaw-Hartridge was like for everyone involved.
Much credit for this yearbook goes to a very dedicated staff, who have lent their artistic and literary talents. I wish to especially thank Susan Kenney, Liz Hammer, Akiko Shimamura, Katia Frank, Tyree Jones and Amy Bitterman and my copy editor Jay Decker, lay-out editor Sue Moon, photography editor Bennett Wolansky, business editors Kory Berg and Barbara Vorwerk, and junior editor Megan Willis.
Guidance is an essential aspect of any production such as this and our two faculty advisors George Ljutich and Elaine Bart have provided the highest caliber of assistance and advice to the staff. Mr. I jutich, in charge of the layout and copy sections, has provided many unique ideas and motivation for the entire staff. The photography and business sections have been effectively and creatively organized by Mrs. Bart, who laid out the entire business section single-handedly.
Many thanks must go to Mrs. Julie Timberlake, who proofread and corrected all the copy and to Mr. Philip Berkebile, whose photography added a very professional quality to the book. Finally we wish to express our appreciation to our yearbook representative Mr. Wynne Murchison, our go-between and buffer when we missed many a deadline and a valuable aid with our special effects. I would like to thank everyone involved with the 1978 TEMPORA ET MORES in any capacity, for this book was the result of a combined effort of many people.
