Activities and involvement with con­ temporaries teach the student a type of knowledge which cannot be taught in a classroom. One learns considera­ tion, which is necessary for co-exist- ence. Activities channel the student's brainpower in a creative direction and add a bit of interest to what might be a mundane, work-filled day.
