 TEMPORA ET MORES
EIP2 end of October saw the first hockey practice, and the assem- l)ly of the teams came late in Xovember. A series of three games was to he played, in which it was necessary for the vietorious
team to win two games. There was keen rivalry and good spirit on both sides, and the Greens and Whites hade fair to furnish plent\}" of excitement on the field. Our expectations were not disappointed—- such charges up and down the field, sueh great swings from one goal to the other as each side struck for victory!
At last the Greens won the first game of the series, and the Whites looked forward to vengeance. Soon the day approaehed for the second trial of strength and skill, and the Whites at least proved that they were good losers. The Greens again swept away the vic
tory after many excellent plays, so that with this game ended the series. The scores were 2-1, and 3-2, in favor of the Greens, The Avin- ners are to he heartily congratulated on their good AA'ork.
