STUDENT ACTION
Student Action consists of three committees: Environmental Club, Health Club and Students Against Drunk Driving. This year the club's
focus has been on the environment. Throughout the year we have written to environmental organizations and we have also adopted a whale named Onyz. In March we brought in a speaker on
the destruction of the rainforests and
also made contributions towards its preservation. In addition, there was
daily environmental news items that
dealt with everything from energy conservation to disposable diapers. i
