 VARSITY FIELD HOCKEY
The Varsity Field Hockey team started the season high in spirit and enthusiasm. Although the team played well, the first victory did not occur until Homecoming. Then the team won three straight games; the most impressive of these
three was the 3-1 win over North Plainfield. One of the highlights of the season was the team's first ever overtime
game against St. Elizabeth.
Two players were honored at the end of the season:
Maryellen Held with the Coach's Award and Aliya Latif with the Most Improved Player's Award.
