The Academic Association, 1916-17

During the week of October twenty-third to twenty-seventh, the offi­ cers of the Academic Association for the school year 1916-17 were elected. Shortly after this the motion to organize an Athletic Associa­ tion was put forward and carried unanimously, Catherine Ames being appointed manager pro-tempore.
On November seventh the Association decided that the school An­ nual be continued in future. The President of the Association was given power to appoint a committee to nominate the editors annually. The election of the editors of the Annual for 1916-17 took place on Novem­
ber fourteenth.
On November sixteenth the Association decided to furnish as many
Thanksgiving dinners as possible to poor families.
