FOOTBALL (4-3) OPEHS AFiD CLOSES SEASOn WITH BIG WIHS
The Rams, under the Head Coach Rich Shello, completed a schedule which consisted of fourjunior varsity-level games and two varsity games. The team ended up with a record of 4-3, 2-1 at the varsity level. Highlights of the season included a season-opening 8-2 triumph over state power Green Brook and saw them put the bookends on the season with a season
Finale 29-22 decision over St. Pius. Despite the re duced schedule, the Rams maintained a positive mental approach to each game. Tri-Captains Rob Sawicki, Jeremy Hare, Roger Lerner and senior Jason Solenski provided the leadership necessary to play the aggressive style of play the Rams portrayed. With the loss of only these four seniors, the outlook re mains bright for Rams' Football.
