Ab o u t two months ago the school decided to enter a Relay Team in the Pennsylvania Relay Races. Prac­ tice was started immediately and continued up to the time
of the races.
The team went down to Philadelphia on Friday, April
27, and witnessed the races of that day. Saturday they ran at three o'clock and were third. The race was won by Philadelphia Institute for the Deaf in 3 minutes 49 seconds.
The time of our team was about 3 minutes 59 seconds. The following fellows went to Philadelphia:

The Wardlaw School was third in Event Xo. i Prep School Races, Pennsylvania Relay Races, 1917.
