We, the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-seven, being of sound mind,* and about to pass into that Great Beyond of the future do, with all due solemnity, declare this to be our last will and testament.
To die Junior Class as a whole we bequeath the following;
1. The traditional senior dignity which we received from the Class of ’26.
2. That theoretical mirror in the Senior cloak room with the hope that it may some day materialize.
3. I'he sole right to interrupt our own conversation in the rear of study hall to admonish, in sepulchral tones, the younger classes in front.
We make the following individual bequests:
1. Allison leaves her ability for concentrated study to Beverley
Trosclal and Virginia Voorhis, with fond hopes for more silence in study hall next year.
2. To Hazel Crowell, Nancy Bacon leaves her voice as a final touch to H azel’s own, and best wishes for an operatic career.
3. Grace Baker leaves her sylph-like figure to Mary Miller, who has long been desirous of it.
4. Lois Beebe’s excitability is left to Mary Kerr and Anne Moment.
5. Ilai Bingham leaves her “specialty” dancing to Dorothy O’Brien
and Virginia Sykes.
6. Ottoline Boissevain leaves her dignity and studious nature to Shirley Clark.
*This statement is frequently disputed, but the poiiit has finally been decided in our favor.
