Assistance with Yearbook Appreciated
We, the editors of the 1968 Maroon and Gold, wish to express our gratitude to everyone involved in the production of this year book.
Mr. Lewis B. Timberlake’s tremendous job of editing, typing, and proofing was the backbone of the year-long project. Next year’s editor, Ralph E. Anthony, helped with layout and proofing in preparation for his coming job.
The endless task of taking and developing pictures was skill fully performed by B. Ivan Clark, Jr., photography editor, with his staff of William E. Akerlund, Thomas L. Hierl, and Raymond G. Whitham.
Yale E. Geftic, advertising manager, succeeded in increasing the advertising quota and in getting all copy in on time. His staff of drivers and assistants is to be commended for a fine job. Book keeping by Bruce M. Elwell kept yearbook finances well stabilized.
A special word of gratitude goes again this year to Mr. Fred Olson, our yearbook publisher, for the time and guidance he has provided.
Again, we would like to express sincere thanks to parents, patrons, advertisers, staff, and administration, without whom the
1968 Maroon and Gold would not have been possible.
