Varsity Field Hockey
The 1992 Varsity Field Hockey Team was led
this year by five outstanding- seniors: Jamila
Brown, Karen Dobbelaar, Bridget Farrell,
Meredith Frimpter, and Amanda Verba. Under
their leadership, the hallmarks o f this season
were dedication and enthusiasm. The best played
game of the season was the Homecoming Game,
which was an exciting, hard-fought event. A num­
ber of individual players had major accomplish­
ments. Jamila Brown set the team record for Coach's Award: Karen Dobbelaar and Bridget making twenty saves against Pingry. Hicole Farrell
Samartine made an astonishing two saves against
penalty strokes in the Morristown-Beard game. Tara Pate led the team in scoring and moved up to fifth on the all-time list. Meredith Frimpter, Amanda Verba, and Tara Fate were elected to the
B Division All-Star Team.
