The teachers of W ardlaw Hartridge have made a lasting impression on each and every student who is or has been a part of our WHS family. Thinking back, I remember fourth grade with M rs Ritz and M rs Drier and the New Jersey cake project which is stiUan anticipated event in the Lower School today. M rs Merklinger introduced us to the many benefits of reading. M rs Brown and M rs McCully opened our eyes to the wonders of music and recorder concerts When viewing the brand new computer labs memories of learning to type with M rs Buddy pop into mind, as do the good-natured barks ofMr. Vietor when a student tried to cheat and look down at the keys The time spent in the Middle School was truly amazing! Who can forget the legendary Mr. Gonnella in Williamsburg? The next transition was into the Upper School and once again we were well prepared. Beowulf awed us in Dr.Beny’sEnglishclassesand Mr.Bitteland Mr.Michalski’sknowledgeofhistory continues to amaze students Students are inspired by the art exhibits of Mrs. Goldman’s class and astounded by the diffei'ent cultures revealed to us by such teachers as M rs Douglas and Senora Reyes Some recall viewing the stars with Dr. Kunar while others I'emember dissect ing pigs with Ml'. Gould. Times such as these were not only fun, but also wonderful learning
experiences that have truly made an impressioa We will be forever grateful to all our teachers at Wardlaw-Hartridge who have guided us through our youth and prepared us for the pursuits that lie ahead
