For the Chinese New Y ear celebration, students joined Chinese language classes in a decorated Oakwood Room to watch various performances by the Chinese students. A fan dance by the Chinese 4 Class, and red ribbon dance by the Chinese 3H class wowed the audience. Sophomore, Suraj Chandran performed a traditional Chinese song, “Jasmine Flowers” on the violin. Following the performances, an impressive group dance to the song, “Zui Xuan Min Zu Feng” by all the Chinese students rocked the house. As the afternoon drew to a close, students played games and tasted an assortment of authentic Chinese foods and candies.
