US Sues North Carolina over Transgender Bathroom Law

potentially epic clash
over transgender rights
took shape Monday when
theÂ  U.S. Justice Depart-
ment sued North Carolina
over the stateâ€™s bathroom
law after the governor re-
fused to back down.
In unusually forceful lan-
