Multi-threat detection.
Honeywell's 5800COMBO is the industry's first professionally monitored, wireless, combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector designed to help protect people and property. Using four sensing elements, the 5800COMBO provides true multi-threat detection and reacts fast to real danger-while helping to reduce false alarms. A photo-electric chamber senses airborne smoke particulates while an electro-chemical sensor monitors the CO bi-product produced by slow smoldering fires. Reduced risk.
The Honeywell detector also features infrared (IR) flame sensing that measures ambient light levels and flame signatures, while thermal detection monitors temperature. Sophisticated and trusted algorithms interpret and respond to multiple inputs and provide the false alarm immunity expected in the most critical applications. Automatic drift compensation of Smoke and CO sensors accommodates for dust build-up over time. Additionaly, the reliable electro-chemical sensor has a 10-year lifespan. Safety you can see and hear. It adds full wireless capability to any VISTA control without additional wiring or sacrificing zones and can help close sales by easily adding 5804, 5804BDV or 5878 wireless interfaces for end-user remote convenience. The WA105DBZ-1 wireless Z-Wave enabled combination sounder/ strobe warning device, designed to alert intruders of a security system presence. Once paired with a compatible Z-Wave controller or hub, the sensor can be turned on or off remotely via the Z-Wave controller and network. When on, the sounder emits a very loud 105 dB alert tone and the integrated strobe flashes brightly. The sounder/ strobe is designed to be wall-mounted, and comes with a UL- approved AC plug-in power supply and offers an integrated battery backup, in case of AC power interruption. Features:
