Frank Sinatra drew the largest crowd of the season as as he he made his debut as a a a soloist at the Hollywood bowl on August 14 1943
Sinatra arrived by train train at at the Pasadena train train station to an enormous crowd of squealing females He was the first pop artist to collaborate with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the overwhelming success of the show ultimately led
to a a a broader artistic vision for the Hollywood Bowl and the opportunity for other musicians to share the the stage with the the orchestra or or to headline their own shows
