        Physical education classes meet two times per six day cycle. This course focuses on a holistic approach to physical education through the completion of all inclusive subject matter. Content includes cooperative activities, creative movement and mindfulness, net/wall activities, and lifetime fitness and pursuits. Through the promotion of physical activity and skill development in the aforementioned content areas, students will strive to implement habitual, health focused tendencies with the goal of improving total body wellness and quality of life. Students will utilize a variety of mechanisms to determine their current fitness level, while discovering practices to improve that level, in both the short and long term.

        This online P.E. course will introduce students to the fundamentals of fitness, fitness safety, biomechanical principles, and cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness. This course equips high school students with the skills they need to achieve lifetime fitness. Personal fitness assessments encourage students to design a fitness program to meet their individual fitness goals.
● Students that earned credit for PDLA P.E. (Lifetime Fitness) during the 20-21 school year cannot take PDLA Lifetime Fitness 1 or 2
