The outsole is a low abrasion real rubber from Italy (Eurosole) which offers excellent grip also on wet terrain. 67 shore hardness (same as most popular Vibram units)
The Dri -Tec Membrane is a seal taped bootie which is tested in a special machine during the production process. Blown up to 6 atm. (0,6 bar).
The last used for Summit is an approved comfort last which is quite wide in the forefoot section.
“Extended Strobel technique” which means that besides the strobel midsole (made with bi-directional nylon meshwork) there is an additional 3mm NYLON MIDSOLE in between the outsole and strobel midsole. This provides excellent torsional resistance (side stability) whereas at the same time this construction offers good “walking-flex”.
Upper is premium full grain waxed leather (Pull up leather) thickness 2 - 2.2mm. The external upper is made in few pieces which reduces critical stitching in the bending zone.
