 Our Mission
Launched in 2016, the Brigham Education Institute (BEI) aims to assist with the design and implementation of our Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) educational offerings, stimulate medical and health professions education research, and provide access to educational resources and professional development opportunities from which all educators across BWH can grow. A dynamic compo- nent of our nationally ranked academic center, the BEI coordinates a wide range of programs specifically focused on the educational development of our medical and health professions educators.
The BEI works in partnership with faculty, administrators, research- ers, and educational technologists to ensure that our medical and health professions education programs and curricula meet the highest standards and criteria. We strive to provide educators with the frameworks and methodological skills to design innovative curricula and ensure these are shared with the world. We offer resources and programs that directly support the career develop- ment requirements for educators in medicine and allied health.
 Our Vision
The BEI seeks to expand, empower, and embrace our community of medical and health professions educa- tors and learners, providing novel opportunities for teaching, learning, and advancement. We seek to collaborate, innovate, and excel, while sharing what we do with the world!
