Our academic partner institutions – OHSU, OSU and UO – select students who match the criteria of our scholar awards. Each winter our chapter notifies the universities of the number of awards that will be available for the upcoming year. The universities factor the awards into their recruitment packages as they offer admission to top students, and they let us know who our new scholars will be over the summer. We welcome our first-year scholars at a picnic each September. This year
we are getting to know the 31 new students supported by our members and donors.
