A Message from ARCS
Oregon’s Co-Presidents
ARCS Foundation Oregon stands as a vital defense of science at a time when research funding and
scientific integrity face unprecedented attacks. ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists)
Foundation advances science and technology in the United States by providing financial awards to
academically outstanding students who are studying to complete degrees in science, engineering,
math, technology, and medical research.
Within these pages you will find stories of our Oregon scholars. As you read them, we invite you
to see what we see: the future of scientific discovery unfolding before us. ARCS Foundation
Oregon supports not just individual promise, but collective hope for breakthrough discoveries that
will benefit us all.
