Mission
ARCS Foundation Oregon advances science and technology in the United States by providing financial awards to academically outstanding students who are
U.S. citizens studying to complete PhD degrees in science, engineering, math, technology and medical research at Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon State University and the University of Oregon.
“Numbers tell the significant impact of the first 15 years of ARCS Foundation Oregon. Our all-woman chapter has raised over $3.65 million to support 225 PhD students at our three Oregon universities. We strongly believe that helping to launch these young scientists will advance science in America. But our impact is also on the personal level, as each PhD scholar learns their work and ideas are valued by the greater community.”
