Jane’s research uses multiple techniques to understand the probability of persistence in the American pika, a climate-sensitive species. This and similar habitat specialists are under considerable stress due to climate and vegetation change.

Sofia focuses on advancing bone regeneration, particularly in craniofacial surgery. She is studying density and mineralization to develop treatments for cleft lip/palate, traumatic injuries, and post-cancer surgeries. Sofia plans to combine her research expertise with clinical practice.
